Today, we had a private tour of the Vatican Museum, with Sonia Tavoletta. She charged 50 euros per hour, and the tour was about 3 hours. With 5 of us, this was a great deal. To say she was amazing, is putting it mildly. She was so knowledgable about everything Vatican, that she made me long to yearn more about it's history.
I have so many pictures from inside the Vatican Museum, it's hard to pick a few.
We also went into the Sistine Chapel, but no pictures are allowed in there. Needless to say, entering this place, so important in Christianity, I was overwhelmed and lost it. Yes, I'm a baby, and proud of it. It was beyond magnificent.
After our visit to the Vatican Museum, we also traveled to the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and Spanish Steps....Yes, it was a busy day!!!

After we finished our big day, Carolyn and I decided to go over to St. Peter's Basilica at about 5pm...I had to see Michelangelo's Pieta. It was one of main things I had wanted to see.
